Dine al fresco for breakfast or dinner
The new outside area we developed in early Spring is now really starting to come into its own with the flowers establishing themselves in the new containers, creating a wonderful haven for bees where the honey is so local, it is made by our next door neighbours! Guests delight in meeting ‘The Girls’ and enjoy their fresh eggs for breakfast. The chicks that we hatched in February are now fully integrated with the main flock and they should start to lay eggs any day now. They will be small at first but just as delicious!
Fully open after lockdown
Very excited to be fully reopening today, 12th April, after a long lockdown and a difficult year last year. Opened the curtains this morning to find huge snow flakes coming down and settling everywhere but we are excited to be meeting our guests from Manchester who are here for the week and have ordered our delicious ‘loaded Brunning burger’ and locally cured gammon for supper tonight. Later in the week, our new barbecue stands ready together with the firepit in our new outside guest area and we are looking forward to showing them our hard work. Now, we wait for the sun to come out…
New guest area added
We are working hard this Spring creating a brand new outside area for our guests. It doesn’t look much now but watch this space! Complete with dining table and chairs, firepit and barbecue, it is going to be a great space for this Spring and Summer. We just need the sun to keep on shining….!
Enjoy eating outside in this lovely weather
Guests have been enjoying home cooked breakfasts and suppers outside, making the most of our Indian summer.
